Co-Worker Relationships

My sister has a terrible coworker that she dreads working with. This woman does many terrible things while on the job. She has a set schedule, but has been caught stealing time. She comes to work late and leaves early. This woman actually lies on her time sheets to get 40 plus hours weekly. She also does inappropriate things. She compared the death of our uncle to her dogs. The next week she showed my sister pictures of a Ku Klux Klan rally. Needless to say my sister has been very upset.

Now my sister has issues of dealing with this woman who sits right next to her. She has let her immediate supervisors know that she is very uncomfortable dealing with this woman. She ignores her and avoids her at all costs but she steal has to work with her everyday. I have learned that sometimes we may have to work with people that we do not like, but in an ideal world we should still be able to get along with them.

I think it’s amazing how this woman has not been caught yet! Who’s supervising? LOL

As far as her comparing her dogs to your uncles – maybe she loved her dogs almost as much as you and your sister loved your uncles. However, the way you’ve been describing her, I’m sure she was mentioning it more in a “get over it” way and that is inappropriate.

The KKK incident shouldn’t even have been allowed in a workplace.

Also, steal should be still:)

Yes, it’s always best if you can avoid enemies or awkward moments in the workplace.
